赤信号

After lurking around and seeing so many beautiful blogs around the place, I finally got my lazy ass off the ground and decided to start a blog to document and consolidate all my reviews, thoughts and snippets of life. I used to watch Anime here and there as a kid but only when I started Naruto say 4 years back that it became an intoxicating love affair. Naruto lead to Bleach and then One Piece, Haruhi, Gundam (All 30 years of it), Evangelion, Space Battleship Yamato, Ghibli films and so much more…then Tokusatsu in the form of Ultraman and Kamen Rider came knocking on my door. It’s an awesome thing, and I cannot love all of it enough so hopefully, you guys will feel the same as well! Living in Singapore, I’m really lucky to have Japanese goods at affordable prices and with the burgeoning anime community, it’s a fantastic place to be. =D

赤信号 – means Red Light in Japanese, mainly referring to the Red Traffic Light at junctions. I chose this moniker as I always liked red as a colour and when you arrive at a red light, you have to stop! So I hope you guys when you come to my blog, stop by and just take a gander! If you’re interested in my collection, either check out the review page or look at this post. For those confused about what are Nendoroids, Figmas.etc, look at this post. Also if you’re interested, check out why do I blog.

I’m also on MyFigureCollection if that interests you. =)

Yours sincerely,

赤信号

  1. Hm! I Totally respect Singapore! Even though it is just a small country, (almost invisible on a world map),It sure is significant! This is just another example of size matters not for success! 😀
    ALL HAIL SINGAPORE!!!!

  2. Hi! I’ve added you to my blogroll with a banner and since I can’t find any fitting banner to use on your site, I’ve customized one myself for you using one of your headers. I hope you don’t mind me doing so, or otherwise, you can always send me the banner you want me to use in the dimension of 174 x 60. I look forward to more updates from your blog!

  3. Hello I’ve been viewing your nendoroid reviews, I’d like to get one but I’m not sure if it can be fake.. I recently discover this site called otakurepublic they sell lots of anime goods I saw a nendo I’d like to purchase but don’t know if it could be fake or not (since bootlegs can be found anywhere x_x), Have you heard/read about this site? For your experience, Do you think is it safe for me to buy there? I hope you don’t mind my asking.Thank you! ^^

    • Hmm from what I’ve seen it seems legit. What Nendoroid are you looking at..? It would be worth checking out the market price for it before commiting to a purchase, it might be cheaper than retail price in some cases.

If you’re worried about bootleg, get it from Ami Ami or Hobbysearch instead. =3

Cheers and thanks for your readership mate!!

      • Thanks for you answer >.< well.. this is the nendo I'd like to purchase it's going to be released in January https://otakurepublic.com/product/product_page_107559.html it is not so expensive (I think xD) in goodsmile company online store I saw its original price it's like 3000-3500 yen it'd be like 30-40 dolllars.. I've already searched at ami ami and hobbysearch even hobby link japan but they don't have it 😦

      • Hmm the prices are in USD so it’s like a grand total of $80 USD with the cheapest shipping option…I think it’s kinda costly but hey if it’s agreeable with you then go ahead!

And Alice is an exclusive that’s why AmiAmi/Hobbysearch doesn’t stock her..good luck!
