Remember the previous post about GSC’s 10th Anniversary? Where you could vote for the stuff you wanted and hopefully GSC would re-issue it! I already listed down what I voted for and if you did participate, here are the results!
I have Figmas of Haruhi and Mikuru and all I was lacking was Nagato. Finally after a long time, I got myself to find and buy her so now here she is!!
Never really thought I will be doing a review of this version of Haruhi considering that it was always being sold above what I was willing to pay for it. However Nakano Mandarake intervened and I got her for around 2300Yen so here she is! My Haruhi Figma collection is now complete!!
I have covered plenty of Haruhi Figmas, but none on Mikuru, the moeful mascot of the S.O.S dan. So let’s hop back in time and have a look at the time-traveller herself~
Kyon is my first ever male Nendoroid and being one of my favourite Haruhi characters, I pounced on it the moment it was available for pre-order since well it’s Kyon! So let’s take a look at how does the only human in the S.O.S dan fare in chibi goodness?
Asakura was probably the first character in the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi which did something really significant and move the story to a climax but other than that, I really didn’t like her that much and if you’re wondering why I got the Nendoroid despite not liking the character…read on!
This version of Nagato is based off the Disappearance of Haruhi movie and me not being able to find a Nendoroid Nagato at a reasonable price before, leapt at the chance of owning Nagato, disappearance ver. or not!
Mikuru is the really awesome time traveller from the anime “The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi” and although I didn’t like her the first time round, on my second trip I begin to appreciate her more and how fantastic Yuko Goto was as Mikuru’s seiyuu. Let’s Mi…mi…mi…kuru beam our way into the review!
