Before I knew it, AFA rolled around again and right smack in the middle of all my projects and stuff. But of course I wasn’t going to let myself be deterred by something as insignificant as homework so AFA here I come!
I know there is a dearth of updates recently and the speed of my posts hasn’t been all fantastic. With the advent of a new job and starting school..my finances and time have kinda dried up so it resulted in a stagnant period for the blog…Excuses aside..with the coming week I should be more released from my current commitments so hopefully, I can knock out some reviews then.

It’s been ages since I touched any Ultra Acts and I’m glad to say that with Ultraman renewal, I’m back and swinging into the line! Ultraman Renewal version is an updated version of the previous Ultraman and with recent Ultra Act improvements, how can anyone not be excited?

Every year in Singapore, we have a Gunpla Expo going on and it’s a great place to check out upcoming products and look at some awesome builds. This year had a change of location from Compass Point to NEX and I dropped by to take a gander at all things Gunpla. XD
Last weekend was STGCC again and this time instead of being held in Suntec, it was in Marina Bay Sands..~ Managed to pluck a little time in between work and spirit myself over to the event!
Of course after Boa, I had to get my favourite One Piece gal of all, Nico Robin! If there is a character who had a sadder childhood than Robin, I wouldn’t know and despite her checkered past, Robin has grown into an integral part of Luffy’s crew and this is the ‘New World’ version of her. Let’s get past her wicked sense of humour and into the review!
I’ve always held out on Bandai’s Figuart Zero line as I felt that their quality doesn’t match the prices being offered. Essentially, Figuart Zero is a mid-ranged product line that offers the quality of a scaled figure but in a smaller and more economical package. Of course you do get what you pay for so the details won’t be too bad..but not astounding either. With the Pirate Empress Hancock, I take my first baby steps into the world of Figuarts Zero…
Saigyouji Yuyuko is yet another character from the awesome Touhou Project franchise. Yuyuko is the mistress of Hakugyokurou or Underworld and being it’s master, holds an awesome power over death. Being such a overwhelming character, I really wanted the Nendoroid as it was uber cute and I had a compulsion to complete the Touhou Nendoroids. I finally managed to score her off Mandarake at 4000Yen (without shipping) so now here she is!
